Lost in North Norfolk, Thurning Hall has been licensed for ceremonies since 1995.
Nestled in the heart of the countryside, only 10 miles from the coast and 12 from Norwich, it is perfectly placed to enjoy all that Norfolk has to offer.
The Drawing Room
Thurning Hall was licensed for civil ceremonies & civil partnerships in 1995. The then newly licensed Drawing room within the house has since been the host of many happy occasions.
Since 2021 a fully legal outdoor ceremony can take place outside within the grounds.
The Georgian Room
The newest offering to Thurning Hall’s story is the coach house. A fascinating building steeped in historical features. A building which has not been tampered with and left purely as it was and is.
The Coach house is a stand alone building entered by large gates into an enclosed yard which takes you on a journey throughout the building.
The Glorious Outdoors…
The Victorian walled garden which is filled with established trees, flowering shrubs, with informal landscape planting. Perfect for the full inner romantic who loves secret gardens with a Bridgeton vibe.
The front park which is full of wild grass with wide cut area aligned with young cherry trees. This location is directly in front of the house itself and gives a grand entrance vibe.
Thurning Hall can be used a special place to bring your baby for a naming service. This civil service is perfect for those who are non religious but want to celebrate their little bundle of joy with friends and family. Contact the registration team for more details.
